Job summary

United HR Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Store Manager to lead end-to-end plant stores and warehouse operations for materials, spares, chemicals, and consumables. You will drive inventory control, optimize space, and ensure accurate ERP transactions with strong MIS reporting.

The ideal candidate has 12–18 years in stores and inventory, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and prior experience in fertilizer/chemical or allied heavy industries.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with procurement, production, maintenance, quality and logistics for uninterrupted material availability.

Position – Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant stores and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, preservation, and timely issue of raw materials, engineering spares, chemicals, lubricants, packing materials, and consumables.
• Drive inventory management by maintaining optimum stock levels, implementing inventory control techniques (ABC, VED, FSN, HML & XYZ analysis), reducing carrying costs, and managing slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure accurate material receipt, inspection, GRN processing, ERP transactions, inventory reconciliation, and compliance with statutory and quality requirements.
• Optimize warehouse operations through effective space utilization, material identification, FIFO/FEFO practices, 5S implementation, warehouse safety, and digital inventory management systems.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability, support plant shutdowns, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Lead inventory audits, physical verification, compliance activities, MIS reporting, cost optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement projects while developing and mentoring the stores team.

Desired Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Production) preferred; MBA/PGDM in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Operations Management will be an added advantage.
• 12–18 years of experience in stores, warehouse, and inventory management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience in fertilizer, chemical, petrochemical, cement, process manufacturing, or heavy engineering industries is essential. Experience in composite fertilizer manufacturing will be highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in inventory management, warehouse operations, spare parts management, material preservation, ERP systems (SAP MM preferred), MRP, cycle counting, annual physical verification, and MIS reporting.
