Job summary

Indiano Chrome is seeking a qualified Store Assistant Manager to support operations at its ferro alloys plant. The role emphasizes inventory control, store procedures, and materials management in a manufacturing setting.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, coordinate with procurement, production, maintenance and accounts, and help maintain stock accuracy, documentation, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• MBA in Supply Chain Management with SAP MM certification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day store operations and material handling.
• Maintain accurate stock records, inventory reports, and inward/outward registers.
• Ensure proper receiving, checking, storage, and issue of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and support timely replenishment.
• Coordinate with purchase, production, maintenance, and accounts teams.
• Ensure proper documentation for material receipts, issues, returns, and stock verification.
• Support periodic physical stock audits and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Track slow-moving, non-moving, and critical items.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall store administration and control.
