Job summary

Travelex Australia is seeking a Store Leader at Perth Airport to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead a small team, coach performance, manage till stock, and ensure compliance with cash handling and security procedures.

You will report to the WA Area Manager, maintain KPI targets, and participate in training programs to promote travel money, prepaid cards, and Western Union services.

Qualifications

• Ideally 1+ year retail leadership or supervisor experience.
• Strong coaching and motivational skills to hit sales targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

• STORE LEADER - Perth Airport

We are looking for a Store Leader, responsible for the performance of Perth Airport Store, to join our friendly team to help us maximise sales through delivering prompt, friendly and enthusiastic customer service.

You will report into the WA Area Manager, be self-motivated and enthusiastic, and have the ability to work autonomously and independently.

Your part of the deal

• You will welcome our customers and identify their needs by providing outstanding customer service
• Drive sales in store and fellow team members to success
• Inspire and motivate team members to achieve sales results and set their own goals
• Coach team members on the behaviours, sales skills and knowledge required to be a successful team member
• Maintain a strong working relationship with internal and external parties
• Analyze store sales performance data
• Promote our range of financial and travel products, such as Travel Money card, Phone cards, Western Union transactions
• Manage till stock
• Able to work on multiple tasks at any one time
• Be able to work efficiently under pressure
• Understand current marketing campaigns and how they add value to the customer
• Achieve individual KPIs / targets
• Be flexible to work on any day for the specified shift times

About You

• Ideally have a min. of one year Retail experience with a sales or customer service background
• Have a natural ability for motivating a team to reach sales targets
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Be an energetic team player with excellent communication skills
• Bring a professional attitude with you to work everyday
• Experience working with foreign currencies is not essential, as full training will be provided

This role will draw on your leadership, selling, customer service, communication, attention to detail and numeracy skills.

Successful candidates must pass a numeracy test, be able to provide a 5-year checkable history, plus pass credit and criminal record checks.
