Job summary

Sodexo in Dolvi, Maharashtra, seeks an experienced Store Keeper to manage the inventory, storage, receipt, and issue of housekeeping materials and dry provisions at our site.

You will maintain stock records, perform stock verifications, ensure FIFO/FEFO, coordinate with procurement and finance, and prepare regular stock reports to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant experience in Store / Inventory Management.
• Experience handling Housekeeping materials and Dry Provisions.
• Knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, and material management.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates from Facility Management, Hospitality, Hotel, Catering, Manufacturing, or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations for Housekeeping materials and Dry Provisions.
• Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase orders/invoices.
• Maintain stock records, inventory levels, and documentation.
• Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions.
• Monitor stock consumption, minimum/maximum stock levels, and replenishment requirements.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable, especially for food and dry provisions.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams for purchase and inventory-related activities.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports and inventory statements.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, security, and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations for Housekeeping materials and Dry Provisions.
• Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase orders/invoices.
• Maintain proper stock records, inventory levels, and documentation.
• Issue materials to the concerned departments as per approved requisitions.
• Monitor stock consumption, minimum/maximum stock levels, and replenishment requirements.
