Job summary

Agrostar is seeking a dynamic Store Expansion Specialist to lead end-to-end expansion, from market scouting to store launch in Uttar Pradesh. You will build a robust location pipeline and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely readiness.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and willingness to travel extensively to on-ground markets and farmer communities to drive impact in agriculture.

Qualifications

• Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, retail, field operations or a similar role.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable with extensive travel and on-ground market visits.
• Intrapreneurial mindset with a desire to work at the grassroots level and drive impact in agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end store expansion from identifying markets to store launch.
• Conduct market and location feasibility assessments (farmer potential, competition, rentals, viability).
• Build and manage a pipeline of locations with internal stakeholders.
• Own store launch execution coordinating with operations, procurement, finance, people practices, branding, projects and others.
• Manage landlords, vendors, contractors and local stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Prepare and track business cases, expansion costs, timelines and budgets.
• Partner with Store Operations post-launch to resolve gaps and ensure performance.
• Maintain expansion dashboards and report progress, risks and decisions to leadership.

ROLE

• Drive end-to-end store expansion, from identifying potential markets and locations to successful store launch.
• Conduct market and location feasibility assessments, evaluating farmer potential, competition, accessibility, rentals and overall business viability.
• Build and manage a pipeline of potential locations, working with internal stakeholders to evaluate, shortlist and finalise sites.
• Own store launch execution, coordinating with Operations, Procurement, Finance, People Practices, Branding, Projects and other teams to ensure timely readiness.
• Manage landlords, vendors, contractors and local stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of commercial and operational requirements.
• Prepare and track business cases, expansion costs, timelines and budgets, ensuring launches are delivered within approved parameters.
• Partner with the Store Operations team during the initial post‑launch phase, resolving operational gaps and ensuring stores are set up for successful performance.
• Maintain expansion dashboards and regular reporting, proactively highlighting progress, risks, delays and key decisions required to leadership.
