Job summary

AgroStar is expanding its store network across India, and Katni will be a key market. We seek a proactive Store Expansion Lead to identify locations, assess feasibility, and build a pipeline of viable sites ready for launch.

You will own end-to-end execution, coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Branding and Projects, manage landlords and vendors, and track budgets. Regular dashboards will update leadership on progress, risks, and critical decisions.

Qualifications

• Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years in sales, BD, retail, or field operations.
• Strong knowledge of the local market and an established local network.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively for on-ground market visits.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end store expansion from market identification to store launch.
• Conduct market and location feasibility assessments evaluating farmer potential, competition, accessibility, rentals, and business viability.
• Build and manage a pipeline of potential locations with internal stakeholders to shortlist and finalize sites.
• Own store launch execution coordinating with Ops, Procurement, Finance, People Practices, Branding, Projects and others for timely readiness.
• Manage landlords, vendors, contractors and local stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of requirements.
• Prepare and track business cases, expansion costs, timelines and budgets within approved parameters.
• Partner with Store Operations in the post-launch phase to resolve gaps and ensure performance.
• Maintain expansion dashboards and provide regular progress reports to leadership highlighting risks, delays, and key decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

• – Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, retail, field operations or a similar role
