Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Bangalore, Karnataka seeks an experienced Storage Migration Engineer to lead planning and execution of enterprise SAN, NAS, and Block storage migrations across multi-vendor platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with migration tools such as Komprise, Datadobi, Parsec, Cirrus Data Migration, and a strong background in VMware, Windows, Linux, and UNIX storage administration, along with a proven ability to minimize business disruption and deliver thorough

Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migrations.
• Hands-on experience with migration tools such as Komprise, Datadobi, Parsec, Cirrus Data Migration (CMC/CMO), or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise storage platforms including NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi, EMC PowerMax/VMAX, or HPE 3PAR.
• Experience with storage replication technologies.
• Good understanding of Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, zoning, masking, and LUN provisioning.
• Experience with VMware environments and Storage vMotion is preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX (AIX/HP-UX) storage administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migration projects.
• Perform file and block migrations using industry-standard migration tools.
• Execute storage migrations across enterprise storage platforms with minimal business disruption.
• Prepare migration plans, runbooks, implementation documents, and rollback procedures.
• Perform storage provisioning, replication, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot migration-related issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Work closely with customers, project managers, and infrastructure teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Support storage upgrades, disaster recovery activities, and post-migration validation.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Storage Migration Engineer with expertise in planning and executing enterprise SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migration projects across multi-vendor storage platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with storage migration tools, migration planning, cloud migrations, and enterprise storage technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migration projects.
