Key Tasks

• Operation, installation, and configuration of our NetApp NAS and SAN storage environments.
• Manage the full hardware lifecycle, from deployment and capacity planning to upgrades and decommissioning.
• Implement and manage high availability solutions, including NetApp MetroCluster.
• Proactively monitor system health and performance, ensuring stability and addressing potential issues before they impact the business.

• NetApp Mastery: Deep, hands-on knowledge of NetApp Data ONTAP (Cluster Mode) and high availability solutions like MetroCluster. Strong experience with both FC and iSCSI protocols.
• Storage Protocols: Extensive understanding of core storage protocols, including SMB, NFS, iSCSI, and FCP.
• Networking: A strong foundation in networking concepts, covering both IP and Fibre Channel networks.
• Scripting: Scripting ability in languages such as PowerShell, Perl, or SQL is a significant advantage.
