Job summary

Cynosure Corporate Solutions is seeking a seasoned Storage Administrator with 8+ years of experience in storage management, preferably with NetApp. The role focuses on NetApp storage architecture, cloning, data protection, and overall storage health across IT environments.

The candidate should be proficient with OS platforms (AIX, Linux, Windows), reporting, and monitoring, and familiar with ServiceNow ticketing. Experience with backup solutions and storage wellness is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and manage NetApp storage structure and cloning processes.

Job Description

• The candidate should be aware of Net-app storage structure. Which will cover the basics of Net-app.
  
• Must be aware of Cloning processes.
  
• Must be aware of Data protection & storage efficiency.
  
• Scripting is additional, however he should be at least able to understand it.
  
• Troubleshooting & Event understanding for critical events reported on storage.
  
• Other skills related to the understanding of operating systems such as AIX & Linux & Windows.
  
• Understanding of Reporting & monitoring of storage.
  
• Understanding to raise a ticket for events reported or part replacement & to perform an activity.
  
• AIQ understanding for storage wellness & to mitigate risks.
  
• Basic understanding of the host side.
  

Requirements

• Any Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Engineering.
  
• 8+ years of experience in storage administration, preferably with NetApp.
  
• Strong understanding of:NetApp storage systems and architecture,SAN/NAS concepts, zoning, and infrastructure
  
• Storage cloning processes and data protection methods
  
• Familiarity with:Storage health tools (e.g., NetApp Active IQ)
  
• Event management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  
• Backup solutions (e.g., Comm-vault, Veeam, NetBackup)
  
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, etc.)
