Job summary

Genzeon Technology Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking an OMS QA Engineer with 3+ years of QA experience focused on IBM Sterling Order Management, especially the cloud version. You will design, implement and execute test cases across configurations and extensions, ensuring quality for order capture, fulfillment, inventory, shipping and returns.

Responsibilities include functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing, patch/upgrade validation, and collaboration with the OMS development

Qualifications

• Experience with software testing life cycle (STLC) and hands-on exposure to IBM Sterling Order Management (Selling cloud version preferred) is a plus.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases/test scripts to validate configurations, customizations, and extensions built on the IBM Sterling Order Management platform.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Order Management workflows (order capture, fulfillment, inventory, shipment, returns).
• Support testing for Sterling OMS projects including patch/upgrade validation, configuration testing, and defect triage.
• Collaborate with the Order Management development team to review requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure quality across releases.
• Experience testing Java-based extensions of Sterling OMS, Java/EE, Oracle, and Middleware integrations; familiarity with IBM call center is an added advantage.
• Identify, log, track, and re-test bugs using Jira, collaborating with OMS developers to drive resolution.
• Work with Sterling OMS integrations with enterprise applications (build/deployment validation, integration testing).
• Familiarity with Micro-services and REST API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and Kafka-based messaging validation.
• Good understanding of AI-driven testing approaches/tools (test case generation, automation acceleration, defect prediction).
• Strong analytical and documentation skills - able to write clear test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
