Job summary

Genzeon Corporation in Hyderabad invites a QA engineer with strong experience in software testing life cycle (STLC) and hands-on exposure to IBM Sterling Order Management. You will design, develop, and execute test cases to validate configurations, customizations, and extensions built on Sterling OMS.

Qualifications

• Hands-on STLC experience with diverse testing types.
• Testing Sterling OMS configurations and integrations.
• Knowledge of Java-based extensions and middleware integrations.
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking and collaboration with OMS developers.
• Familiarity with microservices and REST API testing using Postman/SoapUI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate configurations, customizations, and extensions on IBM Sterling OMS.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across order management workflows.
• Support testing for patch/upgrade validation, configuration testing, and defect triage.
• Collaborate with OMS development team to review requirements and ensure release quality.
• Identify, log, track, and re-test bugs using Jira; work with OMS developers to drive resolution.
• Test Sterling OMS integrations with enterprise applications and REST-based services; validate microservices.
• Gain familiarity with Kafka-based messaging/event validation and AI-driven testing approaches.

Job description

• Strongexperience in software testing life cycle (STLC) with hands-on exposure toIBM Sterling Order Management (Selling cloud version preferred); IBMSterling Order Management Certification is a plus.
  
• Design,develop, and execute test cases/test scripts to validate configurations,customizations, and extensions built on the IBM Sterling Order Managementplatform.
  
• Performfunctional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across OrderManagement workflows (order capture, fulfillment, inventory, shipment,returns, etc.).
  
• Supporttesting for a wide range of technology projects using Sterling OMSincluding patch/upgrade validation, configuration testing, and defecttriage.
  
• Collaboratewith the Order Management development team to review requirements,identify test scenarios, and ensure quality across releases.
  
• Experiencetesting Java-based extensions of Sterling OMS, along with Java/EE, Oracle,and Middleware-based integrations. Familiarity with IBM call center is anadded advantage.
  
• Identify,log, track, and re-test bugs using tools like Jira, collaborating closelywith OMS developers to drive resolution.
  
• Workingknowledge of testing Sterling OMS integrations with enterpriseapplications (build/deployment validation, integration testing).
  
• Workingknowledge of Micro-services and REST API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
  
• Familiarizationwith Kafka-based messaging/event validation.
  
• Goodunderstanding of AI-driven testing approaches/tools (test case generation,automation acceleration, defect prediction).
  
• Stronganalytical and documentation skills — able to write clear test plans, testcases, and defect reports.
