Job summary

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Kollam, Kerala, is seeking a STEM Educator to lead hands-on sessions across Electronics, Robotics, AI and CS, fostering curiosity and practical understanding among students.

You will set up and troubleshoot STEM labs, mentor students for exhibitions, coordinate with schools and teachers, and contribute to evaluating student learning and program impact.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Electronics, Robotics, Coding, AI, IoT, Computer Science or related STEM areas.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot STEM kits, hardware, software and electronic components.

• Ability to teach and mentor students with effective classroom management.
• Past experience in STEM teaching or technical training is preferred.

• Prepare, manage, and troubleshoot STEM labs, kits, materials, and software.
• Monitor student engagement, learning, and progress.
• Mentor students for exhibitions, competitions, demonstrations, and innovation projects.
• Coordinate with schools, teachers, and academic, technical, and operations teams.
• Maintain session records, feedback, inventory, and field documentation.
• Participate in training, reviews, assessments, and professional development.

Job Description

• Technical & Professional Competencies Candidates should have: Knowledge of Electronics, Robotics, Coding, AI, IoT, Computer Science, Design Thinking, or related STEM areas.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot STEM kits, hardware, software, and electronic components.
• Enthusiasm for STEM education and hands-on learning.
• Ability to teach and mentor students with effective classroom management.
• Clear, age-appropriate communication and good teamwork, organisation, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in STEM teaching, technical training, school education, or working with children is preferred.
