Qualifications

• Candidates with other backgrounds may qualify with strong STEM education experience.
• Knowledge of Electronics, Robotics, Coding, AI, IoT, CS or related STEM areas.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot STEM kits, hardware, software, and components.
• Enthusiasm for hands-on STEM education and mentoring students.
• Experience in STEM teaching or technical training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on STEM sessions aligned with the 2nd Foundation curriculum.
• Conduct experiments, coding, prototyping, and problem-solving activities.
• Prepare, manage, and troubleshoot STEM labs, kits, materials, and software.
• Monitor student engagement, learning, and progress.
• Mentor students for exhibitions, competitions, demonstrations, and innovation projects.
• Coordinate with schools, teachers, and academic/technical/operational teams.
• Maintain session records, feedback, inventory, and field documentation.
• Participate in training, reviews, assessments, and professional development.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of STEM Educator

Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following or a closely related technical discipline:

• Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• Computer Science or Information Technology
• Robotics, Artificial Intelligence or Data Science
• Engineering or Technology

Candidates with a different academic background may be considered only if they possess strong and demonstrable professional experience in technical STEM education, including areas such as Electronics, Robotics, Coding, AI, IoT, or hands-on STEM facilitation.

• Technical & Professional Competencies Candidates should have: Knowledge of Electronics, Robotics, Coding, AI, IoT, Computer Science, Design Thinking, or related STEM areas.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot STEM kits, hardware, software, and electronic components.
• Enthusiasm for STEM education and hands-on learning.
• Ability to teach and mentor students with effective classroom management.
• Clear, age-appropriate communication and good teamwork, organisation, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in STEM teaching, technical training, school education, or working with children is preferred.
