Job summary

Tata Elxsi is seeking a Sr. Engineer with extensive experience in the Set-Top Box domain to develop, integrate and support embedded software for Linux-based STB platforms. The role focuses on multimedia, OTT and broadcast technologies, requiring collaboration across QA, hardware and customer teams.

The candidate will work on feature development, debugging, and system-level integration in a fast-paced environment leveraging DRM, streaming tech, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C and C++.
• Embedded Linux development and debugging experience.
• Understanding STB architecture, middleware and device integration.
• Knowledge of IPTV, DVB, OTT, MPEG-DASH, HLS streaming.
• Experience with DRM solutions such as Widevine or PlayReady.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting embedded software solutions for Linux-based STB platforms, with a focus on multimedia, OTT, and broadcast technologies.

Key Responsibilities
