Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in Statutory Audits of BFSI and Non-BFSI entities.
• Ability to manage audits and deliverables with Directors.
• Strong communication and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Statutory audits for SMEs; knowledge of listed entities is a plus.
• Compliance management across Company law, Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Customs, Labour laws, FEMA & RBI.
• Handle IND AS assignments and IND AS statutory audits.
• Strong delivery of timely, high-quality deliverables; prioritize audits.
• Team management and development; guide 2-4 articles and SQA.

Role & responsibilities

Job Description for Statutory Audit role:

• Statutory Audits: Small & Medium Sized entities. Knowledge about listed entities audit will be added advantage.
• Compliance Management: working knowledge of Company law, Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Customs laws, Labour laws, FEMA & RBI compliance.
• Should have handled IND AS assignments and Statutory audits of IND AS compliant entities.
• Good grasp of IND AS , AS and Standards of Auditing.
• Assignment management and Deliverable: Take responsibility for ensuring timely and high-quality deliverable. Manage multiple Audits while prioritizing tasks and maintaining the highest standards of work.
• Team Management and Development: Monitor the work of the team, providing guidance and support as needed. Foster a positive work environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• CA with 0-2 years of post-qualification experience for Executive and 2+ to 3 years post qualification experience for Assistant Manager.
• Experience of Handling Statutory Audits of BFSI & Non- BFSI entities.
• Responsible for handling and closing the audits directly with Director.
• Accountable, takes complete ownership of assignment .
• Strong execution and team management skills Should be able to manage team size of 2-4 Articles and SQA.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal as well as written

• Command over technology in execution of audit.
