Job summary

DealHub.AI is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to steer the strategic direction of our billing platform and architect major end-to-end distributed systems. This role will provide high-impact technical leadership across the engineering organization and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to scale our next-generation billing and subscription management capabilities.

You will set engineering standards, guide architectural decisions, and partner with R&D leadership to elevate execution

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience with deep expertise in Java, distributed systems, and scalable backend architectures.
• Extensive experience architecting and operating mission-critical, robust, distributed financial or billing platforms at scale.
• Proven track record of technical leadership, staff-level mentorship, and influencing engineering direction across an organization.
• Experience using data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing is a must!

• Establish high engineering standards and govern architectural consistency across all platform microservices and infrastructure.

• Partner with R&D leadership to elevate engineering execution, culture, and technical capabilities.
• Architect for high availability, fault tolerance, and multi-tenant scalability while proactively driving initiatives to reduce technical debt.
