Job summary

NILightpath is seeking an Optical HW Engineer to join our team to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge optical coherent transceiver plug/transponder line cards, and to lead integration and oDVT coverage. You will own optical architecture, verification strategy, and manufacturing handoff, becoming the technical authority on optical design and DVT.

In this role you will translate product requirements into optical architecture and design rules, drive closure of performance gaps

Qualifications

• Experience in optical design and integration at system and product level.
• Ability to derive optical architecture from product requirements and verification plans.
• Experience with optical transceivers and DSP/firmware interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead closure of performance gaps across optics / DSP / firmware / card.
