Job summary

Nokia in Bengaluru is seeking an Optical HW Engineer to design and develop optical coherent transponder cards. You will focus on optical transponder integration and oDVT to ensure peak optical performance and quality across line modules.

You will integrate modules, collaborate with the XF team, develop test routines, and document test plans and results. The role requires a strong background in optical engineering, 5+ years' experience, and hands-on testing of transponders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in optical engineering, electronics, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in optical hardware.
• Experience with optical line cards/systems.
• Experience in optical integration and testing of coherent modules or transponders.
• Familiarity with optical characterization equipment and measurement techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex optical systems.
