Job summary

Caithness General Hospital's Renal Unit is seeking registered nurses to provide assessment and treatment for patients attending the unit, which delivers haemodialysis for chronic renal failure, post-transplant care and low clearance input.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current registration.
• Experience in haemodialysis is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support haemodialysis delivery and patient care within the MDT.
• Participate in patient reviews and care planning with the renal team.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered nurses to work within the Renal Unit, in Caithness General Hospital.

We are looking for candidates who are proactive and enthusiastic to join our existing team in the Caithness General Renal Unit. As part of an integrated team, you will provide assessment and treatment of patients attending the unit. The unit currently provides Haemodialysis to patients with Chronic Renal failure, Post Renal transplant care and input with low clearance patients as part of the MDT.

Previous experience in Haemodialysis is desirable but not essential as a comprehensive training package will be provided.

This part-time post is offered as 34.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
