NHS Borders Outpatients Department is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to join the Dermatology outpatient team on a fixed-term basis. The post is 36 hours per week and lasts for 6 months, delivering unsupervised, safe and effective care in an outpatient setting.

You will support Consultants and Specialist Nurses with clinical and non-clinical practice, using strong communication skills to ensure high standards of patient care and teamwork.

NHS Borders Outpatients Department currently deliver clinics to 26 specialties over 3 outpatient areas within Borders General Hospital. A vacancy has arisen within our Outpatient Department for an experienced band 3, working 36 hours per week. This post will be fixed term for 6 months.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to join our established nursing team. You would be responsible in delivering unsupervised safe and effective care in an out-patient setting. The successful candidate will work closely supporting Consultants and Specialist Nurses with clinical and non-clinical practice.
