Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Layout Engineer to develop block, macro, or chip level layouts and floorplans in line with project requirements and design schematics.

The role requires strong experience with analog/digital layouts, SerDes blocks, Cadence tools, and a collaborative approach to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years designing custom layouts in analog, mixed-signal, RF, or digital domains.
• Alternative degrees with 6+ years experience in the same, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in designing custom layouts in relevant domains (e.g., analog, mixed signal, RF, digital design).
• Experience using layout design and verification tools (Cadence, LVS, RMAP).

Responsibilities

• Develops block, macro, or chip-level layouts and floorplans according to project requirements and design schematics.
• Conducts analyses, tests, and verifications to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to align on projects and provide updates.
• Keeps abreast of new verification methods.
