Job summary

Schneider Electric in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with 7+ years in RTOS-based development. You will design and implement embedded C/C++ software for ARM-based controllers and low-level bring-up of I2C, SPI, and UART peripherals.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in EE/CS/IT required.
• 7+ years of embedded development experience with RTOS.
• Advanced hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++ for ARM MCUs.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, UART peripherals and low-level bring-up.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to work with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ software for ARM-based devices.
• Perform low-level bring-up of peripherals and interrupt handling.
• Debug driver-level issues and coordinate with hardware teams to mitigate risks.

What will you do?

• Extensive experience in Embedded C Programming and embedded systems and Peripherals drivers and low level bring up of I2C, SPI, UART
• with interrupts Debugging skills for Embedded low level .
• Proactively identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early in the development lifecycle and communicate mitigation strategies effectively.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

• Primary Skills (Technical Competency):
• Must have skill- Extensive experience in Embedded C Programming, C++ (embedded) and in embedded systems based on ARM Micro controllers.
• Strong working experience in RTOS (Open or commercial RTOS )
• Working experience in Peripherals drivers (Flash .. etc) and low level bring up of I2C, SPI, UART with interrupts
• Demonstrated expertise in embedded system design and architecture, particularly for connected and networked devices(IOT)
• Working experience on TCP/IP socket programming
• Debugging skills for Embedded low level is must
• Good interpersonal communication skills and experience in working with global teams
• Able to understand Hardware schematics and debug driver level issues
• Nice to Have
• Hands on experience in using Oscilloscope
