About the role

As a Systems Design Engineer 4, at Micron Technology, Inc., candidate will operate as a staff-level technical contributor focused on translating real workload behavior into architecture guidance, platform insights, and measurable product improvements. The role is expected to independently own defined technical workstreams, execute system-level analysis across memory, storage, and platform subsystems, and drive clarity on performance, power, latency, responsiveness, and thermal trade-offs for Mobile and Client products. Candidate will collaborate closely with architecture, engineering, validation, product management, and platform teams to convert analysis into actionable recommendations and repeatable engineering methods.

Candidate will directly contribute to AI-enabled transformation initiatives per workload engineering activities across Mobile & Client Platforms, applying Generative AI and Agentic AI approaches.
