Job summary

Bloom Energy in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Supplier Quality for electronics manufacturing. You will audit supplier facilities, drive DFMEA/PFMEA, PPAP/PRP, and lead 8D investigations to ensure Bloom requirements are met.

The role requires 4–6 years in electronics manufacturing, BE/BTech in EEE/Electronics, strong communication and auditing skills, travel 20–30%. Proficiency in PowerPoint and SQC tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PCBA standards such as IPC, J-EDEC/ESD/MSD.
• 4-6 years of experience in electronics manufacturing industries.
• BE/B Tech in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Technical knowledge to evaluate suppliers.
• Quality Management System auditing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint; experience with SQC tools.
• Ability to travel 20–30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Audit supplier facilities to ensure Bloom requirements are met.
• Perform PPAP/PRP to check mass production capability.
• Assess Design for Manufacturability (DFM) of new product designs and drive improvements.
• Manage process development/change management with suppliers to meet Bloom requirements.
• Provide disposal action support for suspected parts and drive continuous improvements.
• Deploy quality tools/methodologies for supplier critical processes.
• Improve supplier quality processes such as assessments, supplier management, part approval, and corrective actions globally.
• Lead 8D reports for complaints/field failures.
• Drive DFMEA/PFMEA to assess/improve product designs and processes.
• Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify improvements.
• RMA handling and actions.
