Job summary

Bloom Energy in Navi Mumbai is seeking a skilled mechanical/electrical assembler to safely build and test sub‑assemblies. You will follow SOPs, read engineering drawings, and collaborate with engineering to translate concepts into physical layouts.

Candidates should have 6–8 years of related experience and a diploma or technical certification; familiarity with blowers, pumps, valves, flow meters, and electrical troubleshooting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe working conditions.
• Able to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Wiring/electrical troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Comfort reading engineering drawings and schematics.
• Cross-functional collaboration to solve problems and propose solutions.
• HS diploma or technical/military certification in electronics/electrical/mechanical/process engineering/technology preferred.
• 6–8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or Work Instructions exactly as written to produce a quality product
• Assemble electrical and mechanical assemblies
• Will be responsible for the quality of work, and workmanship standards
• Will be responsible for entering failure reports to improve quality
• Will be required to work with engineering to take conceptual design to physical layout
• Will work with system test group to trouble shoot assemblies and rework materials in order to meet system requirements
• Must perform hand-over-hand sub-system quality checks

Skills and Experience:

• Must demonstrate safe working conditions
• Must be familiar with the theory and operation of mechanical components such as blowers, pumps, fans, valves, flow meters, and pressure regulators
• Wiring and electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Must be able to read engineering drawings, and some schematics
• Must work at cross functional levels to solve problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
• HS diploma or technical/military school certification in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or process engineering/technology preferred.
• At least 6 – 8 years of related experience.
