Job summary

Bloom Energy in Mumbai (Vikhroli) is seeking a Remote Monitoring Operator to oversee the global fleet of Fuel Cell Plants from the India command center. The role includes day or night shifts and close collaboration with field service engineers.

A Polytechnic diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Energy Systems/ Electrical is required with 0–2 years of relevant experience and basic fuel safety knowledge. This hands-on position supports commissioning, troubleshooting and product quality testing, with

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related experience in the field.
• Basic safety knowledge when handling fuels and high-temperature applications.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and MS Office.

Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for remote monitoring and control of the global fleet of Fuel Cell Plants from the Remote Monitoring and Command Center in India

Essential Functions:

• Remote Monitoring and Control of the Fuel Cell Plants
• Work in 8-hour shifts - either during the day or night
• Communicate & Support Field Service Engineers during commissioning, troubleshooting etc and Product Quality testing team
• Escalate failures per established procedure
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• Good at Diploma subject fundamentals
• Basic understanding of working safely with fuels (methane, propane, etc.) and high temperature applications
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing, valves and valve operation
• Experience in basic Software such as Windows OS, MS-Office
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Additional Skills / Knowledge Preferred:

• Knowledge of DCS / SCADA environment is preferred in case of experienced candidate

Education:

Polytechnic diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Energy Systems Engineering/ Electrical

Experience:

0 - 2 years related experience in the above mentioned field
