Job summary

Equinix in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and document Salesforce solutions that support global business functions. You will balance out-of-the-box features with custom development, work across SDLC phases, and collaborate with product owners, tech leads, and engineers in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Job Summary

Analyse business requirements/functional designs and works with product owners, tech leads, and other engineers to design/develop/document systems and application software.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals
• Determine when to use out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities, when to leverage pre-packaged AppExchange solutions, and when to code a custom solution
• Participate in all phases of software development/implementation including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and support
• Utilize Salesforce skills to continuously deliver business solutions while maintaining existing functionality in a complex, global org

Qualifications

• Overall 5 - 8 years in developing and supporting experience in handling mid to large scale IT projects deployment. Good knowledge in Sales/Service/Marketing CRM business processes
• Min 5 Yrs. experience in Salesforce Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud
• Hands‑on experience and deep understanding of all aspects of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud
• Salesforce Administration knowledge
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and project management skills
• Strong understanding and experience on Salesforce Configuration, Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Lightning Web Components, SOQL and Integrations
• Experience using JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, VSCode
• Experience on DevOps tools like Jira, Copado, Flosum or any other
• Experience documenting TDDs, architecture diagrams

Education

• Bachelor degree or above, Major in Computer Science is preferable
• 5-8 years experience in Software Development, with 5 years experience in Salesforce

Preferences

• Familiarity with general business functions. Business knowledge of telecom domain preferred
• Problem solving and strong communication skills
• Able to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures, grasp technical concepts, ability to multi‑task, working on more than one assignment simultaneously
• Flexibility to support in other time zone, if required
• Developer certifications will be an added advantage
