Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Hyderabad seeks a STAFF ENGINEER, ASIC VALIDATION to contribute hands-on verification, validation and silicon bring-up across multi-processor SoCs.

You will perform C/C++ based debugging, verify ARC processor blocks, and work with SNPS simulation and Metaware debugger to isolate issues on boards. You will engage in end-to-end debug on bring-up boards and other validation platforms, with exposure to PCIe, LPDDR, ONFI and AXI protocols, along with firmware flow

Qualifications

• Hands-on SOC verification and validation across multi-processor platforms.
• Experience with bring-up on hardware boards and prototyping platforms.
• Familiarity with PCIe, LPDDR, ONFI, AXI protocols and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform SOC C verification and validation tasks and diagnose bugs.
• Lead silicon bring-up activities and run end-to-end debug.
• Work with firmware flows during debug; leverage AI tools when appropriate.

We are looking for the individual contributor specific candidate who has hands on the SOC C verification, validation, product debug issues and silicon bring up experience.

The candidate must be hands on multi-processors SOC C verification, validation activities and posses very strong skills in C/C++ and must have ARC processor verification experience, should be familiar with SNPS simulation, debug tools etc.

The candidate should have good knowledge of End to End debug on any Bring Up Boards, other validation platforms (like HAPS prototyping platforms would be preferred).

The candidate should be thoroughly strong in any of the PCIE, LPDDR, ONFI, AXI protocols and debug mechanism using Metaware debugger or any equivalent SW tool on boards.

The candidate should be having good exposure to the Firmware flows during debug activities.

Comfortable using AI internal (Copilot/Claude)
