Job summary
BP is seeking a Staff Delivery Manager for Logistics to lead end-to-end lifecycle of technology products supporting Upstream Logistics. You will bridge product management, data platforms and engineering to deliver scalable transportation tech and measurable business value.
You will drive strategy, ensure adoption, governance and platform sustainability while partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize safety, reliability, and cost across onshore and offshore assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data, digital, or technology delivery in global environments.
- 2+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong business and domain knowledge from industrial or asset-intensive environments.
- Ability to lead through influence with strong collaboration skills.

This role sits at the intersection of product management, data platforms, digital engineering, and asset operations, driving scalable Logistics technology solutions that deliver measurable outcomes across safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost.

The Staff Logistics Delivery Manager leads the end-to-end lifecycle of all technology products that support the Upstream Logistics difficulty from setting the strategy through product development to the delivery and business adoption. This role sits at the intersection of product management, data platforms, digital engineering, and asset operations, driving scalable Logistics technology solutions that deliver measurable outcomes across safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost. This is a staff-level delivery leadership role, accountable not only for delivery, but for product adoption, platform sustainability, and realized business value. The role combines technical expertise with strong commercial competence and cross-organizational influence.
- Define and be responsible for the product vision, roadmap, and value proposition for all products that support Logistics and its core capabilities.
- Align product direction with enterprise priorities, including data platform simplification, automation, cost efficiency, and digital transformation.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, and Engineering to evolve capabilities for reuse across additional business areas.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, delivery, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Lead Agile product delivery, including backlog prioritization, release planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
- Provide technical guidance and delivery leadership to squads, ensuring alignment across data, platform, and visualization workstreams.
- Act as the technical bridge between business and engineering, shaping solutions built on modern data architectures, including:
- Amazon AWS
- Palantir
- Integrations with SaaS solutions
- Define and implement data standards, governance, quality, and security frameworks.
- Coordinate data remediation and improvement plans with technology and data partners.
- Engage directly with asset, engineering, and operational collaborators to:
- Understand use cases and data requirements
- Identify value opportunities and success measures
- Drive adoption and sustained usage
- Communicate roadmap progress, delivery plans, value realized, and costs to peers and senior leadership.
- Build strong, positive governance and collaboration models across product owners, delivery managers, and portfolio managers.
- Identify, validate, and track benefits and value realization, including efficiency gains, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
- Define and monitor product targets tied to adoption, performance, reliability, and business impact.
- Apply strong commercial judgment to prioritize initiatives that improve return on investment and strategic value.
- Support arguments, funding strategies, and investment decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related subject area.
- 5+ years of experience in data, digital, or technology delivery in sophisticated, global environments.
- 2+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong business and domain knowledge from industrial or asset-intensive environments.
- Shown ability to lead through influence with strong collaborator engagement skills.
- Domain expertise in Cargo movement, people, movement, aviation, or land transportation
- Delivery of products at enterprise scale
