Job summary

bp is seeking a highly skilled SAP PaPM Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Universal Model configuration to lead enterprise PaPM solutions and profitability analytics.

You will design model structures, define allocation cycles, implement complex rules, and integrate PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SAC, while collaborating with Finance, Controlling and IT to translate business requirements into robust PaPM solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PaPM Universal Model (UM).
• Experience building UM environments from scratch.
• Skilled in modelling without pre-delivered content.
• Experience with data sources and associations in UM.
• Integration options with various source systems.
• Model Entity with value help creation and reporting in UM.
• Process and Activities Input parameters usage, complex predicates.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP PaPM Universal Model implementations and enhancements.
• Design and configure Universal Model environments including model structure, dimensions, measures, and allocation cycles.
• Build complex allocation and distribution rules within PaPM.
• Develop calculation methods using PaPM scripting.
• Integrate PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SAC for seamless data flow.
• Model profitability segments, cost centres, and profit centres for management reporting.
• Configure data import/export pipelines and mapping between source systems and PaPM.
• Perform simulation and versioning for scenario-based planning and what-if analysis.
• Design transfer pricing and shared service cost allocation models.
• Collaborate with Finance, Controlling, and IT teams to translate business requirements into PaPM solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning of PaPM models on SAP HANA.
• Prepare technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and solution blueprints.
• Lead workshops, demos, and stakeholder presentations.
• Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Universal Model configuration and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modelling, cost allocation, and profitability analysis, and will play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise-wide PaPM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP PaPM Universal Model implementations and enhancements
• Design and configure Universal Model environments including model structure, dimensions, measures, and allocation cycles
• Build complex allocation and distribution rules (driver-based, percentage-based, recursive) within PaPM
• Develop calculation methods including formulas, functions, and custom logic using PaPM scripting
• Integrate PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SAC for seamless data flow
• Model profitability segments, cost centres, and profit centres for management reporting
• Configure data import/export pipelines and mapping between source systems and PaPM
• Perform simulation and versioning for scenario-based planning and what-if analysis
• Design transfer pricing and shared service cost allocation models
