Job summary

Nutanix in India is seeking a seasoned storage architect to lead enterprise storage integration projects, mentor consultants, and drive transformational solutions for clients in a hybrid setup with two in-office days weekly.

You will architect and deliver storage solutions integrating Nutanix with Pure Storage, Dell EMC and other platforms, guide customer engagements, migrate legacy environments, and promote automation using Terraform, Ansible and Python.

About The Team

The team you will be joining is the Professional Services team at Nutanix, located in Pune or Bangalore. This team is dedicated to delivering high-quality architectural solutions and consultancy services to help clients optimize their IT infrastructure. With a collaborative and innovative culture, the team thrives on creating impactful solutions that modernize clients’ technological environments and drive their business success. The mission of this team is to empower enterprises to harness the full potential of Nutanix technologies by enabling integration and seamless coexistence with existing storage platforms.

You will report to the Director of Professional Services, who is known for fostering a supportive and empowering leadership style, encouraging team members to take initiative and develop their skills. The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring the hire to be in the office a minimum of two days per week while allowing for flexibility to work remotely on the other days.

This role will require some travel to meet with clients and engage in on-site consultations and architecture discussions, so a willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagement and project execution is essential.

Your Role

What You Will Bring

• Strong expertise in enterprise storage architecture and integration with Nutanix environments.
• Hands-on experience with Pure Storage and Dell EMC enterprise storage platforms.
• Proficient in SAN/NAS technologies, including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS/SMB.
• Ability to design and optimize storage solutions based on performance, availability, and business requirements.
• Experience in storage modernization, migration strategies, and data protection architectures.
• Competence in automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Strong consulting skills with the ability to engage and lead customer architecture discussions.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
