Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant for FARO CREAFORM in Bengaluru to ensure accurate financial data, support month-end activities, and contribute to global finance operations.

You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, assist with reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and auditors. A Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and ERP/Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation completed or in progress is a strong asset.
• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or corporate finance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries with accuracy.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and GL processes.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Analyze financial information to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors during audits and optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries while ensuring the accuracy of financial data
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting activities
• Analyze financial information and provide insights to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit processes
• Contribute to process improvements and accounting system optimization initiatives
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across FARO CREAFORM to ensure efficient financial operations
