Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SRM Authoring specialist to support Airbus program documentation. You will create and revise SRMs, apply Airbus standards, and perform impact analyses to meet change requests.

The role requires hands-on Airbus tool experience, independent work style, and mentoring capabilities. Hybrid work options enable flexible scheduling and continuous learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in SRM ID (IPC) Authoring for Airbus aircraft programs.
• Strong understanding of Airbus documentation standards, tools, and publication processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents.
• Experience in collecting source data and performing technical analysis.
• Strong understanding of engineering change management and impact analysis.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience mentoring team members and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Creation/ Modification/Revision of SRM for Airbus SA, LR, MB and XWB (A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, A350 and A380) programs.
• Airbus tool experience must.
• Well aware of Airbus standards, Tools & Processes.
• Hands on experience with Airbus tools such as SAP pcs module, SRM 3d ident, zamiz, airbus supply, Airnav, APS, PASS SSI and VPM.
• Understand and follow the impact analysis to create the content to meet the change request.
• Ability to guide Jr. Authors / Jr. Illustrators, Authors / Illustrators.
• Understand and perform impact analysis to create content aligned with change requests.
• Guide and mentor Junior Authors and Junior Illustrators.
