Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Professional Retrofit Solutions Engineer to join the Customer Service Engineering & Maintenance unit. You will define and deliver Post Aircraft Delivery engineering solutions for structural and hydromechanical scopes to maintain airworthiness and improve customer operations.

Responsibilities include CTK MOD closures, SBCR validation, drawing planning and handover, plus technical scrutiny and configuration management.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading engineering drawings.
• Solid knowledge of aircraft systems and their integration.
• Familiarity with Airbus tools and processes.
• Experience with configuration management and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Approves MOD Close to KNOWN (CTK) MP intent (Specific Design)
• Close engineering task for CTK MODs (MOD closure support) - (Specific Design)
• Complete and validate Service Bulletin Concurrent Requirements (SBCR) on Service Bulletin (SB) revision
• Define the detailed planning to reach the Airline Target date in accordance with SEKOM conclusions
• Request adaptation drawings
• Define pre/post drawing solutions for MSN effectivity
• Perform Drawing approval
• Identify Long Lead Item(s) (LLI) and all pre post Part Number (PN)
• Finalize and validate the SB Preparation Dossier (SBCR, Concurrent requirement, Engineering Configuration definition)
• Organize the Handover meeting with the SB Author when the SB Preparation Dossier is completed
• Support in the technical scrutiny of the SB

This Retrofit Solutions Engineer position is opened at Airbus India Pvt Limited in Bengaluru, India.

The position gives an opportunity to join the Airbus Customer Service Engineering & Maintenance unit department in charge of retrofit solutions.

You will be working to define and deliver Post Aircraft Delivery (PAD) engineering solutions for structural and hydro mechanical technical scopes for all Airbus commercial in-service aircraft to maintain continued airworthiness and improve customer operations and profitability.

Main responsibilities

• Approves MOD Close to KNOWN (CTK) MP intent (Specific Design)
• Close engineering task for CTK MODs (MOD closure support) - (Specific Design)
• Complete and validate Service Bulletin Concurrent Requirements (SBCR) on Service Bulletin (SB) revision
• Define the detailed planning to reach the Airline Target date in accordance with Solution Embodiment Kick Of Meeing (SEKOM) conclusions
• Request adaptation drawings
• Define pre/post drawing solutions for defined Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN) effectivity (Engineering configuration analysis - drawings vs MSN)
• Perform Drawing approval
• Identify Long Lead Item(s) (LLI) and all pre post Part Number (PN)
• Finalize and validate the SB Preparation Dossier (including SBCR, Concurrent requirement, Engineering Configuration definition)
• Organize the Handover meeting with the SB Author when the SB Preparation Dossier is completed
• Support in the technical scrutiny of the SB
