Job summary

Lemon Yellow LLP is a user-centered UI/UX design agency based in Thane, Maharashtra. We are seeking a seasoned Visual Designer to join our UI/UX team and transform client requirements into engaging visuals that balance aesthetics with functionality.

You will create assets like illustrations, icons, color palettes, and patterns, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure pixel-perfect results and a strong portfolio-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Graduated in Visual Communication or related design field from a recognized college.
• 7+ years of experience in visual design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing work.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite; familiarity with Figma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create assets such as illustrations, motifs, icons, patterns, color palettes, accents, and storyboards for animation.
• Collaborate with UI/UX team to translate client requirements into visuals.
• Contribute to research and understanding of client needs.
• Suggest options for visual styles after assessing requirements.
• Maintain organized and clean design files.

We are looking for a Visual Designer for our UI/UX team who understands how the world of design works (with functionality and aesthetics working side by side).

Visual Understanding

• Be a curious cat - play your part in research and gain understanding of the client requirements.
• Skimming is a scam when it comes to design. Analyze the product, map its users, and understand the objectives of a client to complete a full circle of research.
• Beautify designs by creating assets such as illustrations, motifs, icons, patterns, color palettes, accents, and storyboards for animation.
• Show your expertise by suggesting options for visual styles after assessing the requirements of the client.
• Collaboration is the key to perfection. Even more when it comes to designs. Stick to this idea to ensure seamless design integration.
• Don’t just let your work speak. Let your persona shine through as well. Participate in team discussions and voice your ideas. We’re all ears!

Ownership and Discipline

• Let your values reflect on your work. Take ownership for projects assigned to you. Aim for that pixel-perfect design, always.
• Be a cleanliness freak, maintain, clean, and organize design files to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Visual Communication, or a related design discipline from a recognized design college with 7+years of experience.
• Some prior experience as a visual designer or in a similar creative role, along with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Expertise in Adobe Suite. Brownie points if you are acquainted with Figma.
• Your designs will represent us in the market. An understanding of UI/UX principles and the talent of translating them into appealing designs will be appreciated.
• A solution-centric mindset and a creative personality is the perfect match.
