Job summary

Lemon Yellow LLP is seeking a seasoned UI/UX Designer with 7+ years of experience in Mumbai area. You will balance usability and aesthetics to craft engaging digital experiences, translating business goals into design solutions from concept to final execution.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct user research, create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, and contribute to a design system while maintaining brand consistency across products.

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer with 7+ years of experience who knows how to balance usability and aesthetics while crafting digital experiences users genuinely enjoy. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, user-centered interfaces, translate business goals into meaningful design solutions, and take ideas from concept to final execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to gain insights into users behaviors, needs, and preferences.
• Analyze user feedback and market trends to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers to define user personas and user journeys.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to illustrate product concepts and interactions.
• Develop information architectures and navigation structures for optimal user experiences.
• Perform usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
• Design visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Ensure consistency in design elements, such as typography, colors, and icons.
• Work closely with developers to implement designs and provide guidance during development.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure design consistency across products.
• Advocate for the use of design system components and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and align on design goals.
• Present and communicate design concepts and rationale behind the same to the stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools, especially Figma.

Requirements

• Promising communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of professional full-time experience in UI/UX design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design process and work.
• Proficiency in Figma; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar is an added advantage.
• User interface designs for all devices (mobile, iPad, Desktop/Laptop).
• Experience in all stages—from concept to final handoff to the developers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preference for candidates from FinTech background.
• Creative thinking and a user‑centric approach to design with problem‑solving skills.
