Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Senior Travel Consultant for a 3-month temporary contract in Mumbai, India. You will handle requests via phone, email, and other channels, acting as the primary contact for customers and delivering active travel consultation with opportunities to upsell related products.

You will work within a global, multi-regional setup, providing travel expertise and supporting operations while coaching travel consultants when needed.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Senior Travel Consultant - Temporary

Location: Mumbai, India

This is a 3 month Temporary Contract

The Senior Travel Consultant is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.) and handling additional duties as assigned within a global, mutli- regional setup. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer and provide active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related products.

This position demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry. You wil work independently on requests as assigned and take the initiative to provide assistance.

The Senior Travel Consultant works with the team to provide day-to-day assistance. You will be the first point of contact for team members and respond to questions, providing direction on policies and procedures. You may work in project teams on projects related to operations and coach travel consultants when team lead is absent.

Responsibilities
