Job summary

YASH Technologies in Maharashtra, India is seeking a Commercialization Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to ensure that products release without workflow disruptions and with quality across the software development cycle.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Portfolio teams to execute test plans, define features, acceptance criteria, and manage test data and test strategies to improve product effectiveness and usability in Oil & Gas operations.

Qualifications

Commercialization Engineer

Job Description: Commercialization Engineer

The responsibility of the Commercialization Engineer is to ensure when a product is commercially released, our customers can efficiently perform their workflow using our products without software failures. This ultimate goal is accomplished during all the software development cycle by working closely with the Engineering & Portfolio Teams. Executing test plans and reporting results for assigned software products is only one part of the Quality Assurance Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Portfolio & Engineering team to define new features requirements, user stories specifications and acceptance criteria but also during the full cycle of feature development from pre-kicked off meetings to User Story closure.
• Provide input to improve product effectiveness, integration and usability.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet the acceptance criteria as based upon the current requirements and specifications.
• Utilize and promote use of the software development standards and testing and evaluation techniques defined by Client software development organization and contribute towards their improvement.
• Design, organize and execute test strategy, test plans and test suites with focus on intended application workflows and in close cooperation with the Development & Portfolio teams.
• Acquire and manage test data required by the test plan.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Oil & Gas industry processes, operations, and business workflows.
• Experience in functional testing, business validation, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience in performance testing, test plan management and execution as well as Bugs management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
