Job summary

Leadec in Chakan, India seeks a Sr. Technician Electrical to perform maintenance across the assembly shop. The role requires a Diploma/ITI in Electrical with hands-on experience in automation hardware, PLCs, and robot-related maintenance.

You will handle troubleshooting, PM activities and basic PLC tasks within a manufacturing setting. The candidate should be adept with conveyor systems, sensors and electrical/electronic maintenance, contributing to smooth line operations and uptime.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical is required.
• Experience in assembly shop maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of Siemens/Mitsubishi PLCs and automation hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance in the assembly shop and related equipment.
• Perform mechatronics maintenance and electronics/electrical troubleshooting.
• Handle preventive maintenance and basic PM/CBM tasks.
• Troubleshoot and maintain robots, sensors, conveyors, and related systems.
• Address MTTR/MTBF considerations during maintenance.
• Work with pneumatic tools, balancers, hoists, scanners and other shop equipment.
• Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting as needed.
• Willingness to perform hands-on manual tasks.

• Candidate experience background will be Assembly shop Maintenance.
• Mechatronics maintenance skill
• Exposure of automotive industry
• Good knowledge of Electronics/Electrical Maintenance, Conveyor maintenance, electrical & electronics troubleshooting, PLC I/O troubleshooting, Basic Knowledge of Sensor,
• Able to do trouble shooting and Maintenance of Robots, Siemens & Mitsubishi PLC, Servo Drives, HMI.
• Hand on experience on PM, PDM, BD, CBM, TBM,
• Awareness of MTTR, MTBF
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance of Assembly shop auxiliary equipment maintenance such as Pneumatic tools, Balancer, Manipulator, Hoist, Scanner, Printer, light curtain, DC tools, Testing machine etc.
• Basic PLC programming
• Ready to do by hand work.
