Job summary

INDUS Systems in Mumbai seeks an IT professional to manage GxP-related IT activities and cGMP-compliant SOP implementations across Unit-I and Unit-II. The role includes maintaining Chromeleon and other IT systems, and ensuring proper IT documentation in line with quality guidelines.

The candidate will train engineers on cGMP principles and coordinate with the central IT team for remote software and web applications, while supporting lab IT needs and monitoring infrastructure alerts.

Qualifications

• Implementation of standard operating procedure as per current good manufacturing practice and guidelines issued by Quality Assurance.
• Maintain the Chromeleon and Non-Chromeleon application systems and servers as per infrastructurepolicies.
• To Maintain IT Documents as per cGMP.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Handling IT related activities at in Unit-I and Unit- II.
• Responsible for GxP-related IT activities.
• Implementation of standard operating procedure as per current good manufacturing practice and guidelines issued by Quality Assurance.
• Maintain the Chromeleon and Non-Chromeleon application systems and servers as per infrastructurepolicies.
• Implementation and review of desktop policies on all the respective GxP systems.
• Implementation and adherence to applicable SOP’s.
• To Maintain IT Documents as per cGMP.
• Provide technical support to the vendors during any new installation or troubleshooting to IT Infrastructure.
• Preparation, Review, Execution of Qualification and Validation document with respect to Information Technology.
• Imparting training to engineers with respect to cGMP and principles of Information Technology.
• Co-ordinate with corporate information technology team for remote software and web applications.
• Provide assistance to Lab for IT support or any IT related issue.
• Review of SCOM alert mechanisms of IT Infrastructure.
• Co-ordinate with Team members and troubleshoot the IT related problems.
• Any other responsibility, assignment allocated by Team leader / Section Head.
