Job summary

Indus Systems & Services is seeking a meticulous IT technician to manage GxP IT activities in Unit-I and Unit-II, ensuring SOP compliance and robust support for Chromeleon and other applications. The role includes end-user assistance, asset management, and collaboration with the corporate IT team.

Responsibilities extend to qualification and validation document handling, desktop policy implementation, antivirus/patch management, and SLA-driven ticket resolution, with emphasis on EHS adherence.

Responsibilities

• Handle GxP IT activities in Unit-I and Unit-II with adherence to SOPs.
• Maintenance and support for Chromeleon and other applications and servers.
• Provide technical support to vendors during installations and troubleshooting.
• Implement desktop policies in GxP systems and manage IT assets.
• Prepare, review and execute qualification and validation documents.
• End-user IT infrastructure and hardware support; printing support.
• Provide network and LAN/Wi‑Fi troubleshooting and coordination with corporate IT.
• Coordinate with team members to troubleshoot IT issues.
• Ensure antivirus and patch management compliance.
• Monitor and close IT tickets per SLA; perform other department tasks as assigned.

Job description

Handling IT-related activities in Unit-I and Unit-II

• Responsible for GxP-related IT activities.
  
• Adherence to effective IT SOPs and ensuring related activities are carried out accordingly.
  
• Maintenance and support for Chromeleon and non-Chromeleon applications and servers.
  
• Provide technical support to vendors during any new installation or troubleshooting.
  
• Implementation of desktop policies in GxP systems.
  
• Maintain and review IT assets.
  
• Preparation, review, and execution of qualification and validation documents.
  
• End-user support related to IT infrastructure and system hardware.
  
• Printing support.
  
• Support related to network LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, etc.
  
• Assisting with IT issues in QC and R&D labs.
  
• Coordinate with the corporate IT team for remote software and web applications.
  
• Coordinate with team members and troubleshoot IT-related problems.
  
• Anti-virus and patch management compliance.
  
• Monitoring and closure of IT tickets as per the SLA.
  
• Any other responsibility or assignment allocated by the Department Head.
