Job summary

Vertafore is a leading technology company delivering insurance industry solutions. The Sr. Technical Lead, Software Engineering will design solutions, implement configurations, and guide client projects across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment, based in Hyderabad, India.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical decisions, and ensure quality while collaborating with Customer Support, Account Management, Professional Services, Product Development, and Product Management to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Develop forward-thinking technical implementation recommendations.
• Responsible for developing new features and supporting/bug fixing existing features.
• Configure or design the required complex reports or integrations.
• Provides input to the project plan or estimating the implementation cost.
• Develops implementation tools and processes on need basis.
• Should mentor or coach the team members.
• Should conduct reviews and deliver demos to team and/or customers.
• Troubleshoot/root cause analysis to the customer challenges and helps in resolving them.
• Requires to be a release engineer to ensure all the configurations to be deployed in all the implementation environments and maintain the health of the environments.
• Work on performance issues that come across during the customer experience and ensure to implement the changes required.
• Need to ensure all the committed timelines are met as defined.
• Need to be able to coordinate with other teams across the Vertafore/Vendor(s) to ensure that the task which requires investigation are completed on time
• Share what they know by mentoring other team membersClosely follow industry trends and theopen-sourcecommunity

As a Sr.Technical Lead,Software Engineeringwould deliver value to customers through implementation, technical configurations, and providing technical recommendations and solutions to business problems. They shape and improve the experience of key Vertafore clients. They work cross-functionally across Vertafore, including Customer Support, Account Management, Professional Services, Product Development and Product Management to help guide the client. You will be hands on, involved in designing solutions and flexible services that expose core capabilities to different applications and user bases, and leading teams to achieve the vision through active mentoring, technical decision-making, and facilitating company-wide collaboration. All of this will be accomplished with cutting edge, lean-agile, software development methodologies.
