Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a Lead Apriso Consultant to drive MES implementations across multiple manufacturing domains. You will relate product functionality to business processes and deliver end-to-end solutions using Apriso suites.

The role requires 6–8 years MES experience, strong OO programming, and proficiency in JavaScript/C#, SQL Server or Oracle. You will lead a small delivery team and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 to 8 years in MES and manufacturing domain.
• 3+ years of object-oriented programming experience.
• Experience with Apriso versions from 2016 to 2023.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/C# Script and SQL Server/Oracle.
• End-to-end MES implementations using Apriso.
• Documentation: as-is/to-be processes, specs, and manuals.
• Familiar with deployment and release management (GPM).

Responsibilities

• Create technical designs from functional specifications.
• Author Apriso processes using Process Builder.
• Build interfaces and mappings using Apriso or third-party tools.
• Develop extensions to the Apriso software suite.
• Interface to external systems and hardware.
• Create test plans and ensure quality of developed software.
• Perform system and integration testing at customer site.
• Provide MES support through transition to support.
• Lead a small delivery team on a module.

• Must have been part of one or more end to end MES implementations using any of the Apriso version mentioned above.
• Must have hands-on experience in creating as-is and to-be process documentation, user requirements, functional specifications, technical design documents, user manuals, and functional design specifications.
• Well versed with deployment and release management processes through GPM.
• Hands-on experience on Process Builder, Machine Integration and Business Integration.
• Must have built mapping for ERP integration and OPC integration.
• Familiar with source control/versioning concepts and creating scripts for database objects.
• Well versed with SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Create appropriate technical designs based on functional specifications.
• Author processes in Apriso using Process Builder.
• Build interfaces and mapping using Apriso or third-party tools.
• Configure and develop required extensions to the Apriso software suite.
• Configure and develop required interfaces to disparate external system and hardware.
• Create appropriate technical and functional test plans and ensure quality of developed software.
• Execution of system and integration testing at customer site together with customer
• Provide technical support for MES system until transition to support.
• Ensure overall quality of final solution.
• Manage small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module within a project (Delivery/Maintenance/Testing).
