Job summary

OculusIT is seeking an experienced L3 Wintel Administrator / Systems Engineer to manage and optimize a large Microsoft-based infrastructure in hybrid cloud environments. You will own AD, Azure Entra ID, Microsoft 365 services, and PowerShell automation, while mentoring junior teams and leading escalations.

The role emphasizes security, reliability, and proactive problem solving across on-premises and cloud resources, with documented SOPs and runbooks to sustain operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft infrastructure / Wintel environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Experience in enterprise or managed services environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD) including replication, GPOs, DNS, Kerberos, and authentication issues
• Administer Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and hybrid identity (Azure AD Connect)
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and system administration
• Administer Windows Server environments (2016–2022), including DNS, DHCP, DFS, patching, and backups
• Lead L3 escalations, root cause analysis (RCA), and incident resolution
• Create SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation while mentoring L1/L2 teams.

• Strong hands-on exp on Enterprise Backup solutions(Veeam, Rubrik, etc.)
• Strong hands-on exp on Enterprise storage solutions (NetApp, EMC/Dell, HP)
• Strong hands-on exp on Enterprise Virtualization solutions(VMware, HyperV, Nutanix, etc.)
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments and enterprise identity management
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities
