Sandisk in Bengaluru is seeking a Sr. SW Test Engineer - Neural Library with 5-8 years of experience to validate neural network operators and libraries for a next-generation AI storage product.
You will ensure correctness, performance, and robustness of compute kernels on advanced hardware platforms. The role involves developing automated tests, conducting memory and numerical validation, and collaborating with compiler, runtime, and hardware teams to optimize throughput and latency.

We are looking for aSr. SW Test Engineer - Neural Library to validate neural network operators and libraries for anext-generation AI computational storage product. You will ensure correctness, performance, and robustness ofcomputekernels deployed on advanced hardware platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Validateneural network operators (matmul, convolution, attention, etc.)for correctness using reference models
Develop automated tests foroperator-level and graph-level validation
Performnumerical accuracy validationagainst frameworks likePyTorchor TensorFlow
Execute and maintainsmoke and regression testsuites
Benchmark and validateperformance (throughput, latency, scaling behavior)
Build and maintainperformance benchmarking frameworks
Performsoftware profiling to analyze execution bottlenecks
Conductmemory usage analysis and detect memory leaks
Debug failures acrosscompute kernels, runtime APIs, and hardware execution
Collaborate with compiler, runtime, and hardware teams
Required Qualifications
4–6 yearsinAI/ML systems validation or performance testing
Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals (mandatory)
Experience withPython for test automation
Strong understanding ofdeep learning operators and frameworks (PyTorchpreferred)
Experience withnumerical validation and floating-point behavior
Knowledge ofparallel execution, memory hierarchy, and compute kernels
Preferred
Experience withprofiling and debugging tools (perf,VTune, Nsight, etc.)
Experience withML execution stacks (MLIR/XLA or similar)
Experience validatinglarge language model workloads
