Job summary

Sandisk in Bengaluru is seeking a Staff Engineer in System Design Engineering focused on NAND Flash. Join a team delivering next-generation NAND flash products for AI infrastructure and emerging tech.

You will lead thermal and power management, collaborate with FW and validation teams, and help define tests while driving reliability and performance across actual systems. The role demands 8–14 years of experience, a strong background in NAND Flash/system design and hands-on programming in C/C++

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, or Master’s, in EE, ECE, E&I, VLSI, or other relevant field.
• 10+ years (BS), 7+ years (MS) experience in NAND flash–based or related system design.
• Knowledge of programming in high-level languages (e.g. C, C++, Python)
• Familiar with debug, testing and peripheral interfaces (JTAG, UART, I2C, I3C, SMBus)
• Proven experience leading products/projects and managing stakeholders.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Thermal and power management on HBF-based products

• REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s, or Master’s, in EE, ECE, E&I, VLSI, or other relevant field
  • 10+ years (BS), 7+ years (MS) experience in NAND flash–based or related system design
  • Knowledge of programming in high-level languages (e.g. C, C++, Python)
  • Familiar with debug, testing and peripheral interfaces (JTAG, UART, I2C, I3C, SMBus)
  • Proven experience leading products/projects and managing stakeholders
• PREFERRED:
  • Experience with flows and toolchains for system characterization and production testing
  • Knowledge of AI server hardware/software frameworks
  • Knowledge of LLM algorithm
