Job summary

Magn a Electronics is seeking engineers to advance automotive radar and RF systems, enabling safe, intelligent mobility. The role covers MCUs, embedded software testing, and debugging, plus hands-on validation across CAN FD, Ethernet, UART, and RS232.

You will work with CAPL, C, and Python, using tools like Lauterbach Trace32, TI Debugger, CANoe, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust, system-level and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe work practices, complies with Magna H&S requirements, and participates in training and hazard reporting.
• Understand FMCW radar systems, RF fundamentals, and automotive radar applications.
• Familiarity with MMIC concepts including antenna configurations, power back-off techniques, and waveform concepts.
• Awareness of ADAS features such as BSM, LCA and CTA.
• Understanding of blockage detection and interference mitigation.
• Embedded systems: Microcontroller architecture, embedded software testing and debugging.
• Testing lifecycle and debugging: V-Model, Lauterbach Trace32, TI Debugger, system- and integration-level validation.
• Communication protocols: CAN FD, Ethernet, UART, RS232.
• Automation and programming: CAPL scripting, C, Python.

Job Responsibilities:

• Domain Knowledge
  • Understanding of FMCW radar systems, RF fundamentals, and automotive radar applications.
  • Knowledge of MMIC concepts including antenna configurations, power back-off techniques, and waveform concepts.

  • Understanding of blockage detection and interference mitigation.
