Magna Electronics in India seeks an engineer to drive functional safety and automotive electronics validation. You will work on ISO 26262 compliance, DV/PV testing, HW-SW integration, and ADAS-related system validation within a global automotive tech environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with CAN/Automotive Ethernet, simulation methods, and requirements elicitation, contributing to safe, high-quality electronic systems for mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety practices and standards.
• Hands-on experience in DV (development verification) & PV (product verification) testing.
• Proficiency in HW-SW integration testing and safety-critical validation.
• Experience with SI/PI simulation techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with fault tree analysis (FTA) and DFA methods.
• Ability to use high-speed scope equipment for diagnostics.
• Knowledge of ADAS components and subsystem functions.
• Strong understanding of CAN and automotive Ethernet communications.
• Ability to elicit and document system and safety requirements.

Responsabilités

• Conduct functional safety activities per ISO 26262 Part 5 and related standards.
• Lead DV/PV testing, integration testing, and system verification.
• Perform HW-SW integration testing across modules and interfaces.
• Carry out SI & PI simulations to validate system behavior.
• Apply FTA and DFA analyses to safety-critical systems.
• Utilize high-speed scope tools for signal integrity inspections.
• Assess ADAS components and their integration within electronic systems.
• Ensure CAN and automotive Ethernet communication compliance and troubleshooting.
• Elicit, refine, and document safety and system requirements.
