Job summary

Unilever PLC in Pondicherry seeks a Sr Supply Chain Executive to optimise operations, manage demand planning, procurement, logistics and inventory, ensuring timely delivery to global customers.

You will lead a team, collaborate with manufacturing, marketing and sales, and drive continuous improvement using SAP/Oracle/JDA and advanced Excel to reduce costs and improve service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably FMCG.
• Strong understanding of S&OP, Lean, Six Sigma and related methodologies.
• Proficiency with SAP/Oracle/JDA and advanced Excel.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain: demand planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, marketing, and sales to align SCM activities with business goals.

• Identify and mitigate risks from supplier disruptions and logistics issues.
• Analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and drive improvements.
