Job summary

AT&T in India is seeking a ServiceNow MID Server Administrator to install, configure, and harden MID Servers across Windows and Linux. You will ensure health, connectivity, and reliable job execution for Discovery and Orchestration, while supporting proxy-based networks.

The role involves monitoring ECC queues, performing upgrades, managing certificates, and creating runbooks. You will participate in incident, problem, and change processes, with a rotating shift schedule to support a global 24x7

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering ServiceNow MID Servers in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting ServiceNow Discovery and Orchestration use cases that rely on MID Servers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows/Linux, networking, proxies, and TLS/certificates.
• Scripting capability using PowerShell and/or Unix shell scripting (bash/sh) for automation and diagnostics.
• Ability to work effectively in an operational environment (incident response, change coordination, documentation discipline).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, harden, and maintain ServiceNow MID Servers on Windows and Linux.
• Administer MID Server configuration including capabilities, schedules, load distribution, and baselines.
• Support ServiceNow Discovery and Orchestration via MID Server health and connectivity.
• Monitor ECC Queue processing, MID Server status/heartbeats, and integration performance.
• Perform MID Server upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, testing, and rollback planning.
• Configure MID Servers in proxy-based networks, including authentication and allowlisting.
• Implement and maintain TLS connectivity and troubleshoot certificate-chain issues.
• Manage certificate lifecycle: install/import, renew, rotate, update keystores on Windows/Linux.
• Develop runbooks and SOPs; participate in incident/problem/change processes.
• Drive automation and standardization to reduce recurring issues.

• Develop and maintain operational documentation (runbooks, SOPs) and participate in incident/problem/change processes.
• Drive operational improvements through automation, standardization, and root-cause analysis of recurring issues.
